How do I select the right gate for my project?
The right gate depends on several factors: the type of facility, available footprint, traffic volume, required opening width, access control needs, and whether crash certification is required. Tilt-Away vertical pivot gates are well-suited for applications with tight setbacks, high cycle requirements, or limited room for swing or slide systems. Not sure where to start? What crash ratings do your gates carry?
Our PatriotGate crash-rated security gates are independently tested and certified to both M30 (30 mph impact) and M50 (50 mph impact) standards. Both ratings are available in a 20-foot clear opening — the largest single-span vertical pivot crash gate available. Contact us for full certification documentation.
Can your gate operators integrate with any access control system?
Yes. Tilt-Away gate operators are fully open and compatible with any access control system — keypads, card readers, software platforms, and more. You are not locked into any proprietary access control solution when specifying our products.
What are your lead times?
Lead times vary based on current production volume. We recommend reaching out early in the specification process so we can give you the most accurate timeline for your project.
Who installs Tilt-Away gate systems?
Our gates are installed by authorized dealers and contractors, typically systems integration companies or commercial fencing contractors. What are the maximum dimensions for your gates?
Our vertical pivot gates have a maximum height of 9 feet and, for crash-rated applications, a maximum clear opening of 20 feet — the largest single-span crash gate in the vertical pivot category. Custom configurations are available; contact our team with your project specs.
